“Art in Latin America” is the inaugural exhibition for MALBA – Constantini Collection, the superb Latin American Art Museum in Buenos Aires that opened its doors on September 20 with the presence of Argentine President Fernando de la Rúa. The 283 pieces -installed in the efficient building of pure lines and exceptional natural light located in an elegant district of the city- offer a wide view of Latin American art from the XX century. Eduardo Constantini, founder of the museum, presented Mexican Agustín de Arteaga as director of the institution that, due to its location, will conform a kind of artistic corridor with the National Museum of Fine Arts, The Decorative Arts Museum and the Recoleta Center. ?
